Lexiebec creates statement jewelry evoking a confident femininity and free spirit. Lexiebec jewelry is a refreshing mix of modern avant -garde designs using traditional metalsmith techniques. Each piece of jewelry is hand sculpted using fine materials, craftsmanship and love.
Alexis Rebeca Turner creates Lexiebec by fusing together her name. Alexis grew up between Whidbey Island, WA and Bermuda where she lived on a boat. This early travel and diversity of environments laid the foundation for her love of all things lively; music, movement, nature, and dance. All of which are present as inspiration in Lexiebec jewelry.
Throughout her early education she trained in the fine arts of painting, life drawing and photography. Later she discovered her passion for metal art while on a trip to San Miguel de Allende in Mexico where she took her first jewelry class. Alexis completed a Bachelor of Fine Art and Master of Art in Metals and Jewelry at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
